The YD series pole-changing multi-speed three-phase asynchronous electric motor is a derived series of the Y series electric motor in China, with advantages including excellent performance, elegant shape, and good interchangeability with many similar products. Its protective grade is IP44. The electric motor is connected by changing winding(change poles), achieving to obtain different output and speed, letting the motor match the mechanical equipment load. The YD series three-phase electric motors are designed in three types: double-speed, three-speed, and four-speed. These speed rotes can be changed in stages. The motors are widely used in applications in equipment where the changed rates in stages are needed, such as mechanism, mine, metallurgy, textiles, printing and dyeing, chemical industry, agriculture, etc.

YD Series Pole-changing Multi-speed Three Phase Motor Features:

• YD series pole-changing multi-speed three-phase asynchronous motor is a new type of motor developed on the basis of Y series. It has the advantages of high efficiency, large starting torque, low noise and small vibration. Since this series of motors can change the speed of the motor by changing the pole, it can achieve a reasonable matching of power and simplify the speed change system.
• Pole-changing multi-speed three-phase asynchronous motors are divided into multi-winding type and single-winding type.
• It is to change the number of poles of the motor by changing the connection of the stator winding, so that the motor can obtain two or more speeds with one or two sets of windings.
• The pole-changing multi-speed three-phase asynchronous motor conforms to the standard of JB/T “YD series (IP44) pole-changing multi-speed three-phase asynchronous motor technical conditions (frame size 80～280)”. It is one of the main derivative series of three-phase asynchronous motors.
• The corresponding relationship between the power level and the installation size of the YD series motors is comparable to the foreign advanced products of the same type. Therefore, it has good interchangeability with advanced products at home and abroad, and is convenient for export and as a backup motor for imported equipment.
• YD series pole-changing multi-speed three-phase asynchronous motor rated voltage is 380V, rated frequency is 50Hz(Can be customized according to users), protection class is IP44, cooling method is IC411, and class B insulation is adopted.

YD Series Pole-Changing Multi-Speed Electric Motor Technical Data:

YD series(IP54) electrode varied and the multi-speed three-phase asynchronous motor is derived from the Y2 series three-phase asynchronous motor. It makes use of changing stator winding connection method to change electrode number and then gets the dual or more speed by using single or dual windings. At present, the YD series electric motor produced by us has 11 frame numbers ranging from 80-280.

The model code of the YD series electric motor comprises four parts: the first part "YD "indicates an asynchronous electric motor; the digits of the second part indicate the central height of the frame (which remains the same with footing as well as without); the English letter of the third part is the code of the frame length (S-short frame, M-medium frame, L-long frame), the digit after the letter is the code of the iron core length; and the digit after the hyphen is the fourth part which indicates the poles of the electric motor.
