The worm and worm wheel are supported by ball or roller antifriction bearings, which have ample safety margins to withstand sufficient shaft neck and thrust loads. Overhung loads generated by chain or pinion drives are generally allowable because the gearbox and bearings are designed for this. However, complete detailed information should be provided for confirmation. In cases where overhung loads are heavy, additional roller bearings can be provided.

Wheel Shaft
