Silage Harvester

A silage harvester, also known as a forage harvester or a chopper, is a specialized agricultural machine used to harvest and process crops such as corn for silage production. Silage is a type of fermented feed made from green forage crops that are stored and preserved in airtight conditions to be used as livestock feed.

When it comes to corn harvesting, a silage harvester plays a central role in the process. It is designed to efficiently cut and chop the entire corn plant, including the stalks, leaves, cobs, and kernels, into small pieces suitable for ensiling.
