Thrust Ball Bearing
Thrust ball bearing is designed to withstand thrust load when running at high speed and is composed of washer-like rings with the ball rolling raceway groove. In addition, these bearings can withstand axial loads but no radial loads. Because the ring is in the shape of a seat, thrust ball bearings are divided into two types: flat base cushion type and aligning spherical cushion type.
Composition of thrust ball bearing:
Thrust ball bearing comprises three parts: seat ring, shaft ring, and ball cage assembly—the shaft ring matched with the shaft ring, and the seat ring compared with the housing.
Types of thrust ball bearings:
According to the force, it is divided into unidirectional thrust ball bearing and bidirectional thrust ball bearing. A one-way thrust ball bearing can take a one-way axial load. Bidirectional thrust ball bearing can withstand bidirectional axial load, wherein shaft ring and shaft match. The mounting surface of the seat ring is spherical bearing with self-aligning performance, which can reduce the influence of installation error.
