Slewing drive planetary gearbox, also known as rotary drive device or rotary planetary gearbox, is a key component specially designed to achieve precise and high load-bearing rotational motion of large mechanical equipment. This gearbox adopts the principle of planetary gear transmission, and its structure includes a central sun gear, multiple planetary gears rotating around the sun gear, and a ring gear fixed inside the outer ring. The planetary gears are distributed on the internal support (planetary carrier) and rotate around their own axis and the sun gear simultaneously, thereby outputting the input power at high torque and low speed, and ensuring smooth and accurate rotation of the equipment within the full angle range.

Housing: The rotary drive planetary gearbox has a sturdy metal housing that serves as a support and protective structure for all internal components.

Sun Gear: The sun gear is located at the center of the rotary drive device and is usually driven by an electric motor or other power source. It is the input component of the planetary gear system.

Planet Gears: Several planet gears are evenly distributed around the sun gear and installed on the carrier. When the sun gear rotates, the planet gears roll and rotate between the ring gear and the sun gear, while orbiting around the sun gear.

Carrier: The planetary carrier is a fixed frame on which planetary gears are installed. The planetary carrier itself can be connected to the outer shell through bearings and can rotate relative to the outer shell, converting the motion of the planetary gears into the rotation of the output shaft.

Ring Gear: The inner ring gear is a large gear fixed inside the housing of the rotary drive device, which meshes with planetary gears and plays a role in transmitting and distributing torque.

Bearings and Supporting Structure: In rotary drive devices, there are usually multiple sets of bearings used to support the rotation of the planetary carrier and output shaft, ensuring stability and smoothness of rotation.

Sealing System: In order to protect the internal gears from external pollutants and maintain lubricating oil leakage, the rotary drive device is equipped with advanced sealing components.

Lubrication System: In order to reduce friction and wear, the rotary drive planetary gearbox usually has a complete lubrication system inside, including grease or circulating oil lubrication.
