Components of a Harmonic Drive:
Harmonic transmission device is mainly composed of three basic parts, namely wave generator, flexible wheel and rigid wheel.
1. Wave generator: composed of a flexible bearing and an elliptical cam, the wave generator is usually installed at the input end of the speed reducer, the inner ring of the flexible bearing is fixed on the cam, and the outer ring realizes the elastic transformation into an elliptical shape by means of a ball.
2. Flexible wheel: a flexible thin-walled elastomer part with a circle of outer teeth, usually installed at the output of the gearhead.
3. Rigid wheel: a rigid circular part with a circle of inner teeth, generally 2 teeth more than the flexible wheel, usually fixed on the reducer body.

*6 Maximum allowable input speed under non-operating conditions. The speed may be affected by the operating environment and operating conditions, but keep the input speed below 3000r/min for continuous operation.

CF-GH Series Harmonic Drive Reducer Installation Methods:

* Evenly grease the wave generator bearings and the inner wall of the flex wheel, and fill the cavity of the input fixing flange with grease.
*Install the motor/input shaft into the input flange (pay attention to the sealing), lock the screws and lock them tightly.
*Install the wave generator into the motor shaft/input shaft (pay attention to the direction of the wave generator), and take the screws and flat gaskets to fix it.
*Install the reducer in the direction shown in the drawing. When installing: apply slight force to the reducer in the direction of installation and rotate it back and forth so that it can be installed smoothly. Take the screws and lock them into the mounting holes and pre-tighten them with a torque of 0.5Nm.
*Set the motor speed to <100 rpm, start the motor, temporarily lock the gearhead mounting screws in diagonal order at 1/2 the specified torque, and then lock them at the specified torque.
