Installation of Worm Gearbox

  5. A no-load running test should be conducted first. Any abnormalities should be corrected before normal operation.

Worm Gearbox Lubrication and Maintenance

To extend the service life of the gearbox, the following lubrication and maintenance should be carried out:

  1. Change the oil for the first time after running for 500 hours, and change the oil every 2500 hours thereafter. However, it is recommended to check the oil level and condition regularly before the next oil change.
  2. Only compatible oil specifications should be added, and different oil specifications should not be mixed in the same unit.
  3. Before adding new oil, the gearbox should be flushed and emptied.
  4. If the temperature rises above 80 degrees Celsius or abnormal noise occurs, the gearbox should be immediately turned off for inspection. It can only be restarted after the problem has been identified and resolved.
