How the Shrimp Fish Farm Aerator Works

After the motor is started, high-speed rotational power is input to the worm shaft via a coupling or belt drive. The worm, acting as the active component, meshes its helical teeth with the tooth grooves of the worm wheel, transmitting power to the worm wheel. Because the axes of the worm and worm wheel are staggered at 90 degrees and the worm has a small number of turns (typically single or double), each rotation of the worm only slowly drives one turn of the worm wheel, achieving significant speed reduction and torque amplification

The reduced, low-speed, high-torque power is directly driven by the worm gear output shaft to drive the aerator's main shaft and impeller (such as a waterwheel or impeller-type blade), causing it to rotate smoothly in the water, agitating the water and increasing oxygen dissolution.
