Adjustable Electric Motor Mounting Rails
These adjustable motor mounting bases allow mounting position adjustments after the motor is secured to a base. Adjusting the motor’s base ensures proper belt tensioning in a belt drive system, reducing stress on the motor, belt, and bearings. Linear bases and slide rails allow for back and forth adjustments. Angular pivot bases adjust the base up and down. Automatic bases adjust the belt tensioning while the motor is running. These adjustable mounting bases accept standard NEMA motor frame sizes and are used to power HVAC equipment such as air coolers, belt-drive fans, and roof ventilators.
Standard Motor Rails – Style 1
This style is made of high-strength structural steel and is manufactured as a durable rail with push-pull adjustment. Individual feet provide under-rail clearance and they are better suited for surfaces that are not perfectly flat.

Standard Motor Rails – Style 2
The style 2 configuration features a “Z” bar construction designed by Overly Hautz, which provides inherent rigidity at a moderate cost. Style 2 also includes a push-pull adjustment feature that is ideal for most flat surfaces.
